Last time the Royals played against Waverly Heights they won playing a fantastic game of hockey but they have dropped four straight regular season games, but they have just came of an incredible gold medal win against varsity view. First Period: Lucas opens up the scoring with a great offence set up goal assisted by Evan and Tanner. Soon after the Storm score a breakaway goal off a very bad defencive turn over. On the ensuing face off the Storm score a top shelve goal from the blue line (Oops) but Tanner ties it up with a great rebound goal assisted by Connor. Second Period: The Storm take the lead when there wide open forwards one times it by Nick for the lead Third Period: Derrick tie up the game with just over three minutes to go when he picks off a defence to defence pass and snipes the puck right underneath the crossbar. One Minute later Joel scores right of the draw assisted by Jordan to give the Royals to the lead and the 4-3 win. Key Points: The royals have now won two straight against a team they could not beat all last year. Most first period goals for in ten games! Areas for improvement: There were a handful of people floating in our defencive zone which gave the Storm lots more chances. Also players were having trouble playing there defencive duties because most were chasing the puck. Three stars: 1. Derrick 2. Tanner 3. Joel
