Royals geet the feling back in a great effort against Il de Chein Elks

Coming into the game the Royals still seemed a little bit overwhelmed on how the end of the first half ended on a sour note. But after some motivational speeches and having a short memory the Royals came to play against the Il de Chein Elks in the first round robin game of the Christmas challenge tournament. First Period: There was no goals scored in the first period for either team but there was lots of great passing hits and saves that got the crowd into it. Second Period: Mason strikes first for the Royals with a nice redirection off of Sean's point shot. Third period: Il de Chein Ties it up when they pick off a sloppy defence to defence pass and score top shelf on a partial breakaway and that would end up being the final score 1-1 Key points: The Royals scored first for the first time in 3 games, the Royals did not take a single penalty throughout the game and lowest amount of goals given up in 3 games. Areas for improvement: the Royals still need to find that spark in there offence one goal a game is not going to cut it and no lazy passes in our own end. five Stars: 1. Mason 2.Sean 3. Connor 4. Lucas 5. Evan
