Royals win seven straight and claim first place

The Royals faced of with Red River. Looking at the standings one might say it was a game the Royals should easily win but red river was willing to do anything to change minds. The Royals knowing that this was the game that if they were to win they would be in first place. First Period: Lucas opened up the scoring 29 seconds into the first period with a rush from centre ice assisted by Evan. Second period: Red River ties it up with a one timer on the door step setup from behind the net. Royals regain the lead after a top shelve snipe from Lucas assisted by Tanner. Right of the ensuing face off the Royals ad to there lead when Derek scores assisted by Derrick. With just under one minute remaining in the first Royals score again, this time by Zach assisted by Mason. Third period: Jordan adds to the royals lead with a sweet goal assisted by Zach. Joel score one more for the Royals assisted by Derek and Jordan to dominate Red River 6-1 and claim first place in the standings for the first time this year. Key Points: The Royals tied there record for most goals scored in one game this year. And They Royals had only one penalty this game.
